The course is updated to reflect the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR & ECC and Adult and pediatric basic life support (BLS) 2017 focused updates to the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency cardiovascular care (ECC).
Basic Life Support training reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED; and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival.
It is made with the help of twenty-two manikins for complete PBLS. Sixteen of the most recent and innovative manikins for PBLS courses equipped with monitors will be available. Features and weight similar to real, allow realistic training for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation of the infant and the child. The contours of the body are sculpted exactly like in reality and the completely realistic skin simulates and prepares the participant to reality. The head realistically simulates the actual movements of the infant and the baby. The ability to simulate the lifting movement of the chin improves the experience of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and facilitates the learning of participants on how to open the airways during CPR.
Compressor frequency light indicator
The Professional Manikins are equipped with a revolutionary CPR Rate Monitor that allows for instant feedback to both instructor and student regarding the rate of chest compressions. The visual feedback from the CPR Rate Monitor gives students a real life feel of delivering 100-120 compressions per minute.
Red light on: compressions frequency between 1 and 59 / minute
Yellow light on: compressions frequency between 60 and 79 / minute
A green light on: compressions frequency between 80 and 99 / minute
Two green lights on: compression rate of 100 / minute
In addition to the visual rate monitor, students will also hear a clicker sound as the chest is pushed to the appropriate depth allowing them to experience the true force needed to deliver real life chest compressions.
The semi-automatic defibrillators Medtronic trainer and America Red Cross will be available for the complete role play of defibrillation.
